About hiring our farm

We are an outdoor venue and specialise in creating unique events, big and small, including festival and Boho-style weddings from June to September. There is plenty of space for food vendors, a bar, a dance area, and space for live music. Additionally, we allow you to bring your own alcohol without any corkage fees. Guests are welcome to camp overnight, bringing their own tents or hiring our bell tents for a glamping experience.

2026 package prices start at £3,000

This gives you private hire of the farm, use of the marquee, festoon lighting, fire pit areas.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We offer a wedding planning service charged at 15% of your event cost.

  • Yes, but you must inform Fat Hen Farm in advance. Our cut off time for amplified music is 11pm.

    Entertainment is subject to sound and spatial limits and must comply with the venue’s licence.

  • Yes. You can access the site the day before to set up and the day after to pack down and clear up (by 12pm). These are not private hire days and there may be other activity on the farm. Access times must be agreed in advance.

  • Yes! We offer four bell tents for hire.

    Guests are also welcome to bring their own tents. The number of tents allowed will depend on the size and scale of your event.

  • Yes, the farm is off-grid. We have a large event generator available for hire and can help source additional equipment to meet your power needs. The farm is connected to the water mains.

  • We have a small number of composting loos on site. For weddings you will need to book extra toilets. We have trusted suppliers and we can help organise this.

  • Yes, we have on-site parking. The number of cars that can park depends on the setup of your event and the number of guests.

  • No. Fireworks are strictly prohibited.

  • Yes. You will have a point of contact on the day. Additional staff can be hired at £20/hour.

  • Only if agreed in writing. Fat Hen Farm does not offer secure storage and is not liable for lost or damaged items.

  • We offer a BBQ service which is charged at £15 per head for adults and £10 per head for children. More details and sample menu can be shared upon request.
