About the Venue
We specialise in outdoor weddings from June to September, offering a laid-back, nature-inspired venue perfect for boho, festival-style, or intimate celebrations.
There is plenty of space for food trucks, a bar, dancing, and live music. You’re welcome to bring your own alcohol—no corkage fees apply.
Accommodation
Guests can stay overnight by bringing their own tents or booking one of our charming bell tents for a glamping experience under the stars.
Pricing
Our 2026 wedding packages start at £3,000 and include exclusive farm hire, use of our marquee, festoon lighting, and cosy fire pit areas.

We offer a wedding planning service charged at 15% of your event cost.

Yes, but you must inform Fat Hen Farm in advance. Our cut off time for amplified music is 11pm.
Entertainment is subject to sound and spatial limits and must comply with the venue’s licence.

You can access the site the day before to set up and the day after to pack down and clear up (by 12pm). These are not private hire days and there may be other activity on the farm. Access times must be agreed in advance.

Yes! We have four bell tents you can hire and guests are also welcome to bring their own tents. The number of tents allowed and the associated cost will depend on the size and scale of your event.

Yes, the farm is off the electrical grid. We have a large event generator available for hire and can help source additional equipment to meet your power needs. The farm is connected to the water mains.

We have a small number of composting loos on site. You will need to book extra toilets for your wedding. We have trusted suppliers and we can help organise this.

Yes, we have on-site parking. The number of cars that can park depends on the setup of your event and the number of guests.

No. Fireworks are strictly prohibited so as to not cause distress to our animals.

Yes. You will have a point of contact on the day. Additional staff can be hired at £20/hour.

Only if agreed in writing. Fat Hen Farm does not offer secure storage and is not liable for lost or damaged items.

We offer a BBQ service which is charged at £15 per head for adults and £10 per head for children. More details and sample menu can be shared upon request.
